These images are from my small practice sketchbooks. The drawings are never very profound, but they help me be a better artist, similar to how practicing scales improves the instrumentalist's technique. These sketchbooks are filled with very small and fairly rough watercolor illustrations of everyday things. Since there will always be plenty of ordinary things around, I'll never run out of subject matter. Currently, I use 3.5" x 5" mixed media Visual Journals by Strathmore.
